OUR STORY
L.W. Stone Electric was founded in 1981 by Louis W. Stone, who built a strong reputation for delivering client-focused solutions and expert electrical installations. His dedication to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction became the foundation of the company’s success.
In 2015, Louis retired, passing the torch to T.W. Williams and Danny Barrett. Together, they have proudly continued his legacy—upholding the same high standards of service, integrity, and professionalism that clients have trusted for decades. Under their leadership, L.W. Stone Electric remains committed to providing reliable, high-quality electrical solutions while continuing to grow and adapt to the evolving needs of the commercial construction industry.
Meet the L.W. Stone Team
DANNY BARRETT
Danny has held a variety of roles throughout his career, gaining valuable experience across multiple industries. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College in 2003, he began working for Shoosmith Construction in Chester, VA. Over his 20-year tenure, Danny contributed to a wide range of projects, including operations in the waste industry, the development and management of Ironbridge Sports Park, and oversight of numerous land development and construction initiatives.
In 2015, Danny joined T.W. Williams at the newly acquired L.W. Stone Electric. It didn’t take long for him to realize he had found his true calling in the electrical contracting industry.
Danny is married to his college sweetheart Ashley and is a proud father of three. Outside of work, he enjoys running, woodworking, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
T.W. Williams
T.W. Williams has dedicated most of his life to the electrical trade. He began his career in 1997 through an apprenticeship program, quickly advancing to become a lead mechanic at a young age. Known for his deep industry knowledge and problem-solving skills, there’s rarely an electrical challenge T.W. can’t solve—or a connection he can’t call on to help get the job done right.
With hands-on experience across commercial, industrial, residential, multi-family, data, and fire alarm systems, T.W. brings a broad skill set and a high standard of craftsmanship to every project. He is deeply committed to client satisfaction and takes pride in delivering professional, code-compliant installations.
T.W. is married to Jess and is the proud father of their daughter, Carma. A true family man, he brings that same sense of loyalty and care to L.W. Stone Electric. The company’s family-oriented culture is a direct reflection of his leadership and dedication to both employees and clients.
T.W. is widely respected in the Richmond area—not only as a highly skilled electrician but as someone who genuinely values the people he works with and serves.
